Ceramic Abrasive Belts

Ceramic abrasive belts have the longest life-span and fastest cut rate of all the types of abrasive. Due to their uniform chemical structure, ceramic abrasives break up in a controlled manner, unlike aluminium oxide or zircon, and therefore can be used in a wider variety of applications. However, one downside to ceramic abrasives is their sensitivity to heat and pressure which needs to be considered for successful use.

Ceramic abrasives are best used on aluminium castings, titanium alloys, mild steel mill scale, and stainless steel finishing.
