Barefoot Ember 9 is a specialist underlay designed for underfloor heating systems and double-stick installations in commercial or large-scale domestic settings. At 6mm thick, Ember 6 delivers low thermal resistance for efficient heat transfer, while its high-density core offers excellent durability under heavy traffic and fixed flooring installations.
Manufactured from recycled IKEA mattresses and fine PU granules, Ember 6 provides a smooth, lump-free structure that performs consistently across the entire floor surface. It’s fully recyclable, with all offcuts and uplifted material accepted for remanufacture into new Barefoot Underlay - supporting a closed-loop supply chain.
Ember 6 is constructed with a non-woven fabric top and white backing layer, which enhance durability, resist tearing, and make it easy to cut and position. Supplied loose-rolled in a 100% recycled printed bag, Ember 6 is a practical, installer-friendly option for demanding technical applications.
